Target Gets Into the Wallet Game

Target have recently launched Wallet, a new dimension to their Android and iOS app, as a means of faster checkout service and to provide an integrated savings platform for their customers. By simply scanning their virtual Wallet at checkout, guests can pay with their REDcard while at the same time saving with Cartwheel offers and weekly ad coupons—that’s alongside the 5% REDcard discount. And very soon, customers will be able to store and redeem gift cards in their Wallet. Mike McNamara, chief information and digital officer at Target, is enthused by this new addition and confirms that “guests are going to love the convenience of having payment, Cartwheel offers, weekly ad coupons and gift cards all in one place with Wallet.”
